Ayra Starr: The Gen Z Queen

“If I cast then I cast, yeah. Anythin’ wey wan sup, go sup”. Yeah that’s Ayra spitting bars.

Oyinkansola Aderigbe, better known as Ayra Starr is here to reign as Nigeria’s Gen Z icon. The Nigerian-Beninese singer/sonwriter has been giving us hits left, right and centre and she isn’t going to stop anytime soon. She derives inspirations from many Artistes like; 2Baba, Angelique Kidjo and Celine Dion. Her style is unique and diverse and invigorates many emotions.

From the release of her first song; Away from Mavin Records in January of 2021, she’s continually amazed us with her banger sounds and killer vibes. Her music is all things Gen Z, with lyrics that are relatable and true to every teenager right now. Cast for example starts with an introductory segment about how we are all listening to another voice, searching from inspiration from everyone but ourselves.  Tell me that’s not true. General No Send Me , 100 yards husband material, these are things we experience in relationships these days.

Indeed Ayra is a Fashion Killer who blesses our eyes with her glamorous dresses and outfits like the celestial being she is.

19 & Dangerous features stars; Foushee and CKay. The album is filled with hits that will leave you vibing constantly track after track, no breaks. From chart topper; Bloody Samaritan to Amin, every lyric, every tune is beautifully woven to create wonderful audio session.
